About our first Washington D.C. event
D.C is one of the cities with the most Salvadoreñas/os in the U.S. It was only appropriate to host our first event outside of L.A in a city with a strong culture identity and history. Plus, we received many requests via social media to host an event in the city!
Details
The evening featured a panel/Q&A - highlighting several individuals sharing personal stories and how they’re using the power of social media to bring visibility to the Salvadorian/Central American narratives that many times gets lost in translation. Attendees had the ability to meet & greet and network all while enjoying camaraderie and platos típicos.
