The Holidays are a month of giving, familia, & celebrating! Help us reach our goal of $5k As a Woman and Queer-led organization, we strive to provide experiences that are inclusive, educational, and fun for all! We seek your support to sustain our cultural events, and programs that bring joy and representation to an intergenerational community. Donate Today! Our mission is to provide celebratory and educational experiences to individuals of all ages! Unfortunately, our efforts can only reach so far as we don’t count on corporate sponsorships or grants, even though we apply for them. Therefore, we look at our community, YOU, to support our efforts to create inclusive programs that we didn’t have growing up! Donate now to help reach our goal for cultural programs! Get your exclusive tee! Please support by purchasing an exclusive tee or make a tax-deductible donation this season to help us plan accordingly for the new year! Shop the shirt! Salvies Who Lunch is a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to providing cultural experiences. ¡Jotería! Our event ¡Jotería! in partnership with LA Plaza de Cultura y Artes, highlights LGBTQIA+ talents, leaders, and culture! The event provides a special ambiance for queer families and allies! Puchica Fest The foodie event, Puchica Fest, formerly Pupusa Fest, is a unique experience for individuals to taste the best of Central American food & culture! With live performances, panel conversations with food experts, live contests, and arts & crafts, this is a family gathering for all ages! ¡Chévere! Our signature event that started it all, ¡Chévere! is where art, poetry, music, films, and vendors create an unforgettable experience where individuals will come back to be inspired by local talent. Bichitos & Bichitas Club As an extension to our SWL brand of experiences, we launched our Bichitos & Bichitas Club in September with a South Gate elementary school. Our goal with this program is to teach all children about Salvadoran and Central American art and culture. The four-week program served 300 students, in which they learned about the great Fernando Llort, printmaking, painting, and making Central American food!
